NPP lost election 2024 because we were honest- Assafuah

Vincent Ekow Assafuah, MP for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, believes the New Patriotic Party (NPP) lost the 2024 elections due to honesty.

He based this on the Environment Minister's statement about the Russia-Ukraine war and COVID-19 hurting Ghana's economy.

Assafuah expressed concern that Ghanaians did not trust his party's truth. Instead, they believed propaganda from the opposition NDC.

In a social media post, he wrote, “We were vilified and insulted. We were voted against not because we failed, but because we chose to be honest with ordinary Ghanaians.”

These comments came from the Minister for Environment, Science and Technology at an international event.

He concluded with a reminder that "God alone remains faithful."
