NPP panicking because their last line of legal protection is crumbling – Fifi Kwetey on CJ suspension

Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC, spoke about the NPP. He believes they are panicking. Their last line of legal protection is crumbling.

Kwetey said the NPP is worried about Chief Justice Torkornoo's departure. They feel less safe with ongoing legal cases against them. He claimed they fear losing their influence in the justice system.

On JOY NEWS, Kwetey explained that the NPP feels vulnerable now. They worry that their ally in manipulating the system is gone. He stated that those who abuse the system should face consequences.

Kwetey argued that if a Chief Justice cannot uphold justice, it raises concerns. He believes charity must begin at home regarding accountability.

He praised the integrity of the Council of State and other advisory bodies. Kwetey trusts these individuals will not engage in witch hunts. He described John Mahama as fair-minded and not petty.

Kwetey emphasized that freedom and justice are essential for citizens' potential. Creativity must align with fairness and accountability.

In related news, the Supreme Court dismissed an application to halt Chief Justice Torkornoo's removal process. The court ruled 3-2 against MP Ekow Assafuah’s request to stop President Mahama's actions regarding her suspension.
