NPP respects Adwoa Safo and would not harm her reputation – Haruna Mohammed

Haruna Mohammed is the Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He stated that the party respects Adwoa Safo and values her contributions.

Mohammed emphasized that they would not take actions to harm her reputation. He spoke about the recent postponement of Safo’s disciplinary committee hearing.

The NPP postponed the hearing, which was set for April 7, 2025. They informed Safo and her legal team about this decision.

The reasons for the delay have not been disclosed. However, Mohammed mentioned that it aims to ensure fairness and due process.

Safo was expected to address comments she made about the NPP's performance in the 2024 elections. The party viewed these comments as a breach of internal communication protocols.

A new date for the hearing has not yet been announced. Safo’s legal team has been notified of the postponement.
