Nana Akua Afriyie, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma North, has firmly dismissed calls for a rerun of the parliamentary election, insisting that all necessary documentation is intact.

Her comments come amid unresolved disputes over the collation of results.

A High Court order on January 4, 2025, directed the Electoral Commission (EC) to finalize results for four outstanding parliamentary seats, but Ablekuma North remains unsettled.

Collation efforts resumed on January 8 but were halted due to incomplete results from three polling stations.

The EC planned to continue on January 17 but postponed the process following security concerns raised by the Ghana Police Service.

Afriyie, speaking to Channel One Newsroom, asserted that the existing pink sheets confirm the results, making a rerun unnecessary.

"We are not going for any rerun. We are going to collate those three polling stations," she declared.
