President Nana Akufo-Addo has inaugurated the second phase of the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange, describing it as a pivotal achievement in modernizing Ghana’s infrastructure and boosting economic growth.
Speaking at the ceremony on November 29, 2024, the President highlighted the interchange's role in easing Accra's persistent traffic congestion, enhancing urban mobility, and facilitating commerce.
He stressed the project’s alignment with his administration’s transformative development agenda.
Akufo-Addo framed the interchange as part of a larger vision to upgrade Ghana’s transport networks, urging the public to maintain the facility for lasting benefits.
“This project underscores our commitment to addressing infrastructural challenges and delivering progress for all Ghanaians,” he remarked.
