NPP still arrogant despite electoral defeat – Gyampo fires

Professor Yaw Gyampo has sharply criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He described their electoral conduct and post-defeat attitude as dangerously arrogant.

Gyampo reacted to the NPP’s “Thank You Tour.” He believes it ignores public anger that led to their 2024 election loss.

He stated, “When we complained openly, they arrogantly responded.” They claimed they would still break the eight, as if voters were foolish.

He added, “When we dismissed their insistence to break the eight, they said ‘it is possible.’ This shows the height of NPP arrogance!”

Gyampo noted that five separate post-election surveys show NPP support is below 25%. He urged the party to focus on internal reforms instead of celebrating or criticizing the new Mahama administration.

“This is not the time for leadership struggles,” he warned. The party is nearly collapsed and risks annihilation.
