The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is demanding urgent clarification from the government over troubling drug trafficking allegations at Ghana’s airports.
NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong revealed in a Channel One TV interview on April 6th that the party has outlined 26 key questions, which will be made public at a press briefing on Monday, April 7th.
He clarified the meeting will not address the Adwoa Safo disciplinary case but will focus squarely on the disturbing narcotics claims.
Frimpong criticized the government’s inconsistent responses, accusing officials of downplaying the seriousness of the issue.
“Our members are deeply concerned. The country deserves honest answers,” he stressed.
The NPP says it is acting in the public’s interest, urging transparency amid growing public anxiety over the alleged security lapses.
