NPP was working on how to cheat while we focused on victory – Alabi

John Mahama’s Campaign Manager, Joshua Alabi, has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of prioritizing electoral manipulation over substantive policies during the December 7 elections.

Speaking to TV3 Ghana, Alabi criticized the NPP’s alleged focus on unfair strategies, contrasting it with the National Democratic Congress's (NDC) voter-centered campaign. He attributed the NDC's strong grassroots support to its clear messaging and direct engagement with Ghanaians.

“The NDC campaigned well with solid messages and visibility. Meanwhile, the NPP seemed more interested in plotting ways to cheat,” Alabi remarked.

He emphasized the NDC’s commitment to addressing voters' concerns and protecting ballot integrity, stating that this approach strengthened the party's connection with the electorate and contributed to its appeal nationwide.
