The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagba, announced that the party will not share the findings of a recent investigation.
This investigation was conducted by a 12-member committee after their defeat in the 2024 general elections. The committee was chaired by Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye and presented its report in Accra on Wednesday.
Mr. Ahiagba explained that the report is for internal use only. He said, “It is an internal document that will guide the party’s reform process.”
He emphasized that it aims to help position the NPP for victory in 2028. While not explicitly stated, he noted that the document is not meant for public consumption.
Mr. Ahiagba mentioned there are ways to inform supporters about key issues without releasing the report publicly. He stressed that the recommendations will be crucial for shaping party strategies before the next election.
