NSS scandal: Authority secures court order to stop The Fourth Estate’s exposé

The National Service Authority (NSA) has secured a 10-day injunction from the High Court to prevent The Fourth Estate from publishing a series of investigative reports on the NSA, which were scheduled for release on December 3, 2024.

The court order, served just 12 hours before the first publication, restrains the media organization from publishing any stories related to the NSA until the authority’s side of the matter is included in the report.

This action follows an announcement on November 29 by The Fourth Estate that it would begin a series of investigative reports on the NSA, leading to the sudden legal intervention to block the publication.
