Nana Agradaa vows to return and double Sammy Gyamfi’s $800 amid public backlash

Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, known as Nana Agradaa, is in the news. She is a former fetish priestess turned evangelist. Recently, she received a cash gift from Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board. This has sparked controversy and criticism.

In a live Instagram video, Agradaa addressed the backlash. The footage showed Gyamfi giving her what looked like U.S. dollars. This incident led to calls for Gyamfi’s suspension from some members of Parliament.

Agradaa stated she does not want to harm Gyamfi's career. She pledged to return the $800 and even double it. “I will find his office and return the money,” she said.

She expressed concern about how the gesture could be misinterpreted. Agradaa emphasized that her conscience wouldn’t allow her to cause Gyamfi to lose his job.

As a self-proclaimed woman of God, she declared her commitment to doing good. “If Sammy gives me money, he deserves it,” she stated firmly.
