National Hajj Taskforce rejects claims of poor service to pilgrims

The National Hajj Taskforce has denied claims of poor service. About 3,000 pilgrims have been airlifted to Saudi Arabia. Some participants complained on social media about various issues. These include poorly ventilated rooms and substandard meals.

During a news conference in Accra, Collins Dauda addressed these concerns. He questioned the validity of the complaints. He insisted that the quality of the pilgrimage remains high.

Dauda stated, "I’ve been pronounced dead before, but I still live." He noted that many people are misrepresented on social media. "Social media can divert attention and mislead people," he added.

He also mentioned that one faulty air conditioner shouldn't be a major issue. "If you have a hotel for 6,000 people, problems can arise," he said. He compared this to situations that happen in people's homes.

Overall, Dauda emphasized that such complaints should not overshadow the experience of the pilgrimage.
