The Ministry of National Security has refuted social media rumours alleging the kidnapping of Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah, labeling them as false and baseless.

In a press release, the Ministry urged the public to disregard the claims and cautioned against spreading unverified information that could undermine national security.

The statement, according to Daily Guide reports, comes amidst ongoing efforts to bolster Ghana’s security framework.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia recently highlighted the government’s dedication to combating cybercrime as part of preparations for the 4th industrial revolution.

Additionally, the Ministry is implementing the National Security Strategy to address threats and enhance border management.
