National Security operatives and allies are reportedly orchestrating a smear campaign against Albert Dwumfour, President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), after his newspaper, Daily Analyst, began serializing a leaked document exposing corruption within the security establishment.
The documents allege misconduct by National Security head Edward Kwaku Asomani, including harassment, property sales, and secret meetings with opposition figures.
An anonymous group, Youth for Media Freedom, has demanded Dwumfour’s removal, with sources suggesting National Security's involvement.
The leaked report reveals attempts to sell the National Coordinator's residence and boasts of illicit property acquisitions.
