National Security operatives storm Chairman Wontumi’s home

Chairman Wontumi’s Home Raided by National Security Operatives

On May 23, 2025, a team of National Security operatives and police officers raided the home of Bernard Antwi Boasiako. He is commonly known as Chairman Wontumi.

The operation took place in the morning. Security personnel surrounded his residence during the raid. The reason for this operation is currently unknown.

It has not been confirmed if Boasiako was at home during the raid. He serves as the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
