National Security storms Kofi Jumah’s home over $100k state car he shockingly bought for GH¢4,943

National security operatives raided the home of Maxwell Kofi Jumah. He is the former Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries. The raid aimed to recover state-owned vehicles he allegedly possesses.

The operation took place early on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Reports indicate that Kofi Jumah was not at home during the raid.

Jumah is under investigation for financial misconduct during his tenure. This includes allegations of acquiring state vehicles and mismanaging company assets.

On August 1, 2019, GIHOC's Board approved his purchase of a Genesis G90 car. The car had a market value over $100,000 but was sold to him for just GHS 4,943.
