National Security uncovers fake dollars and gold bars in massive bust at Sapeiman

National Security operatives have seized a large consignment of alleged counterfeit money and suspected gold bars hidden in twelve 20-foot shipping containers at a warehouse in Sapeiman, Ga South Municipality.

Acting on a tip-off, officers discovered fake US dollars concealed in wooden boxes filled with cement, along with counterfeit Ghana cedi notes, military uniforms, and boots.

Authorities are searching for two missing containers and have launched a manhunt for four suspects, including a ringleader known as Alhaji.

Investigations are ongoing to dismantle the operation.
