New CMC MD pledges innovation, inclusion and staff welfare

Dr. Wisdom Kofi Dogbey is the new Managing Director of the Cocoa Marketing Company (CMC). He has promised to focus on innovation, inclusivity, and staff welfare.

At a staff meeting in Tema, Dr. Dogbey thanked President John Dramani Mahama and Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson for their trust in him.

He called CMC a “respected leader in the cocoa industry.” He emphasized its role in Ghana’s economic recovery and growth. His vision is to make CMC a global leader in cocoa marketing based on quality and sustainability.

Dr. Dogbey believes everyone at CMC matters. He wants to create a culture where all staff feel valued. He suggested using the term “team members” to promote unity.

Staff morale and welfare are his top priorities. He assured employees of an open-door leadership style free from discrimination or political victimization.

“No one will be punished for giving honest feedback,” he said. “My doors are open to all, regardless of rank or politics.”

To encourage innovation, he plans to introduce a digital suggestion box for anonymous ideas and feedback.

“Innovation and efficiency will guide our strategy,” he stated. “Let’s think boldly about marketing, operations, and sustainability.”

Dr. Dogbey also urged leaders to identify talent within the organization. He pledged to improve working conditions and employee benefits.

“Together, we can build a stronger CMC,” he concluded.
