New PMSU executive committee of NIB inaugurated

The newly elected executives of the Professional and Managerial Staff Union (PMSU) were inaugurated in Accra on Wednesday. They are from the National Investment Bank (NIB) PLC.

The union is chaired by Robert Afrifa Twumasi. Other members include Prince Kofi Adzah, Vice Chairman, and Mary Donkor Kwobuk, Secretary. The team also includes Obed Kwasi Ganyaglo, First Trustee, and Adwoa Amankrah Edua, Second Trustee. Michael Kuuku Abban serves as Youth Representative, while Irene Osei Tanoh is the Women’s Representative. They will serve a four-year term.

Mr. Morgan Ayawine is the General Secretary of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU). He emphasized the need for collaboration between the union and management during the inauguration. He noted that the bank's recent successes are due to staff commitment and sacrifice.

Mr. Ayawine stressed that effective teamwork is essential for addressing investment issues. This collaboration can help prevent negative impacts on the bank's operations as it continues to progress.
