Newly confirmed Kpando MCE pledges to deliver on NDC's reset agenda

Killian Donkor is the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kpando. He has promised to fulfill his duties in the municipality. He called for support from Chiefs, Elders, Assembly Members, and other stakeholders.

After his confirmation, Mr. Donkor visited the Paramount Chief of Kpando, Togbe Dagadu IX. During this visit, he expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and local leaders. He asked for their continued support to help him perform effectively.

Mr. Donkor emphasized the need for unity among Chiefs, Assembly Members, and residents. This unity is essential to achieve President Mahama’s Reset Agenda in Kpando. The agenda aims to address issues needing reform in the community.

He urged all stakeholders to collaborate without division for Kpando's growth. This collaboration will benefit both current and future generations.

“Advise me, guide me, and hold me accountable,” he said to the Chiefs and Elders. He encouraged them to ensure he meets his responsibilities.

In response, Togbe Dagadu IX urged everyone to support Mr. Donkor as the President’s representative. He noted that the MCE's success would reflect positively on Kpando as a whole.

The Paramount Chief also advised Mr. Donkor to share his plans clearly with the community. This transparency will help track progress and ensure effective support when needed.

Togbe Dagadu reiterated that he is open for advice and collaboration for Kpando's benefit. He advised Mr. Donkor not to rely solely on government funding for projects.

Instead, he encouraged exploring local resources and alternative funding sources or grants.

“When faced with challenges, ask yourself what the President would do,” said Togbe Dagadu IX. He urged Mr. Donkor to model his leadership style after that of President Mahama.
