Next time, please man up and speak up if your gov’t is failing – Bawumia told

Franklin Cudjoe has advised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to speak up. He believes the former vice president should not stay silent when things go wrong. Instead, he should express his concerns as part of the government.

In a Facebook post, Cudjoe wrote, “Next time, please man up and speak up.” He emphasized that true leadership involves addressing issues openly. He criticized Bawumia for only confessing after problems have caused hardship and loss.

Cudjoe's comments followed recent remarks by Bawumia during a party thank-you tour. The former Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party acknowledged their defeat. He attributed it to failures like not reshuffling ministers and introducing the e-levy.

Bawumia also mentioned that living standards worsened under the NPP’s leadership. He noted this was a significant change from what people expected from the party.
