Nhyira FM feeds over 500 Kumasi residents at 2025 fufu party

The forecourt of Nhyira FM in Kumasi was packed. Hundreds of residents and listeners came to enjoy fufu.

The 2025 Nhyira FM fufu party had patrons lined up. They eagerly waited with earthenware bowls for free servings.

The popular fufu bazaar attracted many hungry guests. They were drawn in by the aroma of various soups from local restaurants.

The event, called "Tim Tim Tɛm," featured selected caterers. These included Friends Gardens, Betty's Kitchen, Young Lord Restaurant, Mavis Pub, and Sophia's Restaurant. Each is known for their delicious fufu and local soups.

After enjoying their meals, patrons shared their excitement with Nhyira News. One regular said, “I will come back anytime there’s a fufu party.” Another added that the event was well organized and should happen every year.

The program also included music that got everyone dancing.

Event Coordinator Eric Inkoom noted they exceeded their goal. They aimed to feed 500 people but served even more.

“We asked five food vendors to serve at least 100 patrons each,” he explained. With security help, they managed the crowd effectively.

Most past fufu parties occurred on holidays. This year’s event was held on a weekend instead. They hope to return to holiday scheduling next time.

Main sponsors included Tasty Tom, Fung Yue Season Powder, Faith Homeopathic Clinic, Medi Moses Prostate, Tonkyi Herbal Center, Officer Bitters, and Cowbell.
