Former Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul has dismissed any claims linking him to state capture, insisting he does not own any government property after serving eight years in office.
Speaking in Parliament, the Bimbilla MP emphasized that he never resided in a state-owned apartment or engaged in any illegal dealings. He announced plans to officially communicate his stance when the committee investigating state capture is fully constituted.
Nitiwul also defended the mandate of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative, arguing that corruption probes should include the period from 2009 to 2016.
He maintained that the committee should address all cases impartially rather than focusing solely on past administrations.
