A United Nations Dash 8 aircraft made an emergency landing in Mogadishu.
The plane is operated by the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS).
It landed safely at Aden Adde International Airport after a nose wheel failure.
The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) reported the incident.
The aircraft took off from Mogadishu at 11:16 AM, heading to Baidoa.
Shortly after takeoff, the crew noticed a problem with the nose wheel.
They decided to return to Mogadishu for safety.
The plane executed a belly landing at 1:28 PM.
All passengers and crew were unharmed during the landing.
The aircraft only sustained minimal damage.
An investigation has been launched by the SCAA.
They aim to determine the cause of the nose wheel malfunction.
