No certified medical reports received – OSP rubbish viral medical report on Ofori-Atta

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has dismissed a medical report. This report claims that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta is unfit to travel.

The OSP stated that no certified medical records have been submitted. They have not received any official documents from any hospital.

The alleged report claims that the Mayo Clinic diagnosed Ofori-Atta with prostate cancer. It mentions he underwent an MR-guided biopsy.

According to the report, his surgery is scheduled for June 13th. Afterward, he will need time to recover before traveling.

However, the OSP denies receiving this letter from Ofori-Atta or his lawyers. In a statement on June 3rd, they said no such letter was submitted.

The only communication from his legal team indicated a change in his medical condition. This message did not include any medical documentation.

The OSP noted that the alleged hospital letter was shared in the media. They emphasized it was not submitted to law enforcement investigating him.
