No excuses — Bawumia vows renewed leadership during ‘Thank You’ tour

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, acknowledged past shortcomings. He urged Ghanaians to unite for a better future.

During the NPP’s “Thank You Tour” in Goaso, he stressed accountability and renewed governance.

“This Thank You Tour is not just a celebration,” he said. “It is also a moment of sober reflection.” He emphasized that they have listened to concerns and want to move forward together.

In response to public criticism, Dr. Bawumia clarified his stance. He stated that excuses would not be part of his campaign.

“We will not make excuses,” he assured supporters. “We pledge to correct our lapses and deliver better governance.”

The Goaso event was part of a national tour to thank grassroots supporters. It served as a platform for Dr. Bawumia's appeal for collective purpose.

“Let us move forward together with renewed purpose,” he declared. “We owe it to every Ghanaian to serve with humility and dedication.” His words drew applause from the crowd.
