No member of NDC will engage in Galamsey – Afriyie Ankrah assures

Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a member of the NDC Manifesto Committee, has assured Ghanaians that no NDC member will engage in illegal mining if the party wins power.

He emphasized the NDC's commitment to protecting forests and water bodies and warned any members considering illegal mining (galamsey) to rethink their actions.

Ankrah criticized the current government for failing to combat illegal mining, accusing them of ignoring reports and allowing the issue to worsen.

He called on Ghanaians to vote against the NPP due to their failure to address the problem effectively.
