Kwesi Pratt has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to prioritize addressing Ghana's economic challenges rather than engaging in a witchhunt of New Patriotic Party (NPP) officials after assuming power.
Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo show, the Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper warned that focusing on prosecuting political opponents would not improve the lives of ordinary Ghanaians.
“If after arresting people, the price of kenkey rises from 5 cedis to 10 cedis or the dollar jumps from 17 to 25 cedis, it achieves nothing,” Pratt cautioned.
He emphasized that Ghanaians need economic relief and urged the NDC to concentrate on solutions to ease the nation’s hardships, stating, “This is what truly matters to the ordinary Ghanaian.”
