His letter, dated April 2, 2025, asks the Committee Chairman to summon representatives from key agencies. These include National Security, Police CID, Narcotics Control Commission, and National Investigations Bureau (NIB).
An emergency session is scheduled for Monday, April 7, at 11:00 AM in Parliament’s Committee Room. The meeting will address three major cases that have raised public concern.
**National Security Cases**
1. **Operation in Sapeiman:**
On February 9, 2025, National Security conducted an operation. They uncovered twelve containers with gold bars and large amounts of currency.
2. **Major Cocaine Busts:**
In March 2025, authorities intercepted drugs worth $350 million. Another seizure followed soon after, valued at $120 million.
3. **Suspicious Aircraft Landings:**
Two aircraft landed at Kotoka International Airport on March 12 and March 20, 2025. AirMed Flight N823AM and Cavok Air Antonov An-12B came from Gran Canaria. They allegedly returned to Gran Canaria on March 25, raising concerns about their cargo and purpose.
