Rev John Ntim Fordjour, the MP for Assin South, has denied any legal action against him. He is reportedly being sued by Mr Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, the MP for South Dayi.
On Thursday, May 16, 2025, Rev Ntim Fordjour issued a statement. He expressed surprise at the media coverage regarding the lawsuit. He insisted he has not received any legal documents.
"Media reports of a suit supposedly filed by my colleague have come to my attention," he said. "However, I have not been served with any such suit."
Rev Ntim Fordjour is also the Ranking Member on Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee. He stated that he would not be distracted by what he called an unsubstantiated legal move.
"I await the service of the supposed suit," he added. "I will demonstrate that it is of no merit." He signaled his readiness to respond once formally notified.
His comments follow various media reports about Mr Dafeamekpor's alleged legal action against him. However, details of this suit remain undisclosed.
