Ntim Fordjour had basis to raise his suspicions, but his modus operandi wasn’t optimal - Senyo Hosi

Economic Policy Analyst Senyo Hosi has commented on the controversy involving Rev. John Ntim Fordjour. He believes the Assin South MP had valid concerns but could have approached them better.

This discussion follows a failed operation by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to arrest the MP. The incident has sparked a national debate about political intimidation and civil liberties.

On JoyNews' *Newsfile* programme, Mr. Hosi acknowledged Rev. Fordjour’s suspicions about national security and governance. He stated, “I believe he had some basis to raise the issues he did.”

However, Mr. Hosi criticized how the MP handled the situation. He said, “His modus operandi wasn’t optimal.”

He stressed that in sensitive matters, it’s crucial to avoid unnecessary tension or misinterpretation. A proper approach enhances credibility and maintains national stability.

Mr. Hosi urged both government and opposition members to uphold democratic values. He called for respect for institutional processes during this time.

He emphasized the importance of constructive engagement that prioritizes transparency and accountability without undermining Ghana’s democracy.
