Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has called on the Mahama administration to prioritize the completion of uncompleted projects in the Assin South District.
Speaking at the 68th Independence Day celebration in Assin Darmang, he highlighted key projects, including the Agenda 111 hospital, a model STEM educational complex, and the continuation of the Free SHS initiative. He also announced plans for a Fire Service Station in the district.
The district’s coordinating director, Richard Ansah Amoafo, emphasized unity and collaboration for development, while the District Director of Education, Isaac Opoku Inkoom, urged a change in mindset and greater accountability.
Ghana gained independence on March 6, 1957, with Dr. Kwame Nkrumah becoming the first Prime Minister and later President.
