The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee has received 2,417 corruption-related complaints from individuals and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Chairman Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed.
Presenting the final report to President John Dramani Mahama, Ablakwa disclosed that 1,493 complaints came through the toll-free line, while 924 were submitted via email.
He emphasized that all submissions were recorded and preserved for verification.
Highlighting the committee’s impact, Ablakwa questioned where these petitioners would have turned without ORAL’s intervention.
He described the overwhelming response as clear evidence of the necessity of the initiative in tackling corruption and recovering misappropriated public funds.
