Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Chair of the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) team, has assured Ghanaians that the committee's work will not burden taxpayers.
Speaking after the committee’s inaugural meeting on December 18, the North Tongu MP revealed that members have agreed to forgo salaries, allowances, and other perks, emphasizing their commitment to serve the nation voluntarily.
In a Facebook post, Ablakwa reiterated the team's resolve to work “for God and Country” as part of President-elect John Mahama’s anti-corruption drive.
ORAL, a five-member team including notable figures like former Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo and retired COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, aims to gather evidence on corruption ahead of Mahama's tenure.
The initiative underscores Mahama’s pledge to hold corrupt individuals accountable.
