Obuasi West MP, Kwaku Kwarteng, has demanded urgent investigations into the deadly clash between illegal miners and military personnel at the AngloGold Ashanti mine on January 18, 2025, which left seven people dead.
The incident involved approximately 60 miners armed with locally made weapons breaching the mine’s security.
