Five people, including three immigration officers, were injured after an angry mob attacked a Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) property in Ayigya, Oforikrom Municipality, Ashanti Region, on November 26.
The mob, reportedly led by a neighbor of the officers, armed themselves with machetes and other weapons, attempting to set the two-story building ablaze.
Parts of the structure were burned, and valuables, including mobile phones and cash, were stolen.
The attack allegedly stems from a long-standing property dispute.
Despite three court rulings favoring the GIS, the neighbor reportedly escalated the conflict with intimidation and violence.
Police have arrested seven suspects, including the alleged ringleader.
The immigration officers declined to comment, while eyewitnesses described the chaotic scene.
The dispute remains unresolved.
