Okaikwei Central: EC ordered to add 31 outstanding polling station results before declaring winner

The High Court has directed the Electoral Commission (EC) to collate 31 outstanding polling station results and add them to the 110 already collated for the Okaikwei Central Constituency parliamentary election by Monday, January 6, 2025.

The ruling followed a mandamus application filed by NPP candidate Patrick Yaw Boamah after delays in declaring the election results.

The court also instructed the Inspector General of Police to deploy armed officers to ensure the collation proceeds smoothly and securely.
