Nana Ato Dadzie, lawyer for social media activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor, has pledged to identify the individual behind a false bribery claim involving National Democratic Congress (NDC) Appointments Committee members.
The allegation suggested that committee members demanded money to approve ministerial nominees.
Speaking on Citi FM’s Eyewitness News, Dadzie emphasized the need to uncover the source.
Meanwhile, Barker-Vormawor apologized to the committee, clarifying that his social media post was not intended to accuse members of taking bribes.
He explained that he kept the post online to preserve its original context for reference.
However, he expressed willingness to delete it to resolve the controversy.
His apology signals an effort to defuse tensions surrounding the claim, which has stirred debate within political circles.
