Nigerian entrepreneur and publisher Chief Dele Momodu will host a public lecture on May 16, 2025. The event aims to address hunger and poverty in Africa.
Chief Momodu stressed the need for collective action. He said, “Whether you’re from Ghana, Nigeria, or any other African nation, our biggest challenge remains the same—how do we rescue Africa from the grip of poverty and hunger?”
The lecture is called the Dele Momodu Leadership Lecture. It will gather prominent African leaders and thinkers to find practical solutions.
Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo will deliver the keynote address. Chief Momodu believes he is “uniquely positioned to speak on this issue with clarity and authority.”
Former President Goodluck Jonathan will also attend. Many other African dignitaries and policymakers are expected as well. This event promises to be a significant gathering of influential minds focused on Africa's future.
