One dead, Three Police Officers injured in Dominase drug raid

A police operation in Dominase, Gomoa East District, turned violent. The operation targeted illicit drug peddlers in the area.

During the crackdown, officers faced strong resistance from the suspects. This led to a confrontation between police and alleged drug peddlers.

In the clash, a civilian connected to the peddlers was killed. Three police officers were injured and are receiving medical treatment.

The identities of the deceased and injured officers have not been released. Police sources confirm that investigations are ongoing in the area.
