Hundreds of supporters from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and other minority parties protested on Monday. They were demonstrating against President John Dramani Mahama's suspension of the Chief Justice.
The protest began at the Supreme Court. Leaders submitted a petition to the judiciary there.
The demonstrators wore red clothing, armbands, and headgear. They marched through the main streets of Accra in large numbers.
After leaving the Supreme Court, they went to Parliament. There, they presented a second petition before continuing their march.
Their final stop was Jubilee House to deliver another petition.
