Oquaye report to guide NPP’s future, not for public consumption – Osei-Owusu

Joseph Osei-Owusu, a former MP for Bekwai, spoke about the NPP's post-election report. He is a senior member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Osei-Owusu stated that this report is an internal document. It is meant to guide future actions and reorganization.

There have been concerns about the report's findings. Some people are calling for it to be made public. In an interview on Citi FM’s Eyewitness News, he addressed these issues.

Osei-Owusu mentioned that the report has been shared with the National Council. This council represents the leadership structure of the NPP. He emphasized that the report is a strategic tool, not for public release.

He cautioned against non-party members discussing it publicly. “The national council has been fully briefed,” he explained. The primary purpose of the report is to help with internal planning after recent electoral setbacks.

“It is not intended to inform the public,” Osei-Owusu said. “We need this information to reorganize ourselves and relaunch our party.” He acknowledged that misinformation may circulate but assured they would respond when necessary.
