Osman Ayariga chairs technical working committee of National Apprenticeship Programme

Osman Ayariga, the CEO of the National Youth Authority (NYA), has a new role. He is now the chairman of the Technical Working Committee for the National Apprenticeship Programme.

The committee was inaugurated today, March 19. The Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, led the inauguration at the Ministry's premises.

Mr. Opare Addo highlighted the committee's importance for effective programme implementation. He stated that this initiative is vital for equipping young people with job market skills.

Under Mr. Ayariga’s leadership, the committee will shape the programme’s direction and success. Osman Ayariga expressed gratitude for his appointment and promised to work hard.

He said he is honored to chair this committee. He believes it can transform many young Ghanaians' lives. Ayariga assured that they would ensure real opportunities for skills development and employment.

The Technical Working Committee includes industry experts, policymakers, and education specialists. They will oversee the programme’s design, implementation, and evaluation.
