Isaac Owusu received the Gold Award from Nana Guahyia Oduro Panin Birikorang I.
His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, made an appeal. He urged financial institutions to create innovative support products for businesses.
This event was the 22nd Ashanti Business and Financial Services Awards. It also marked the 25th Ashanti Business Leaders Excellence Award 2025. The ceremony was organized by TOP BRASS at Manhyia Palace for Otumfuo's 75th birthday.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu was represented by Nana Guahyia Oduro Panin Birikorang I, chief of New Edubiase. He thanked Mr. Isaac Owusu, CEO of Isaac Group of Companies, for his dedication to business growth in Ashanti.
He stressed that financial institutions should offer more than just credit to SMEs. They should provide advisory services and capacity-building support as well. This approach would help ensure loans are used wisely.
Isaac Group of Companies received a Gold award for its contributions to business development in Ashanti region.
Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, Vice President of Ghana, was also recognized. She led the Mahama government in starting the Women Development Bank.
He noted that once established, this bank would promote women's financial inclusion and economic empowerment.
