Our polling station executives and grassroots are our greatest assets, I thank them - Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), expressed gratitude to party supporters. He called polling station executives and grassroots members the NPP’s greatest assets.

During a Thank You Tour in Takoradi on Saturday, April 26, he recognized their hard work. Dr. Bawumia said their efforts help sustain the party's strength nationwide.

“Our polling station executives and grassroots are our greatest assets,” he stated. He thanked them sincerely for their dedication.

He highlighted that NPP's victories come from the commitment of local supporters. Their loyalty and hard work are essential for the party's success.

Dr. Bawumia served as Ghana’s Vice President from 2017 to 2025. He noted that no political party can succeed without grassroots support.

“It is the grassroots that defend the party in every community,” he said. He urged executives to stay strong as they prepare for the 2024 elections.

He ended his speech by promising ongoing engagement and support for party members.
