The Electoral Commission (EC) has reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful and fair 2024 election, with Deputy Chairperson Dr. Eric Bossman Asare emphasizing that the EC’s reputation is at stake.

At the launch of Citi FM and Channel One TV’s election coverage, Dr. Asare highlighted the EC's dedication to electoral integrity and urged political parties to ensure their agents are present at polling stations for transparency.

The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) also urged strict enforcement of electoral laws, calling for the prosecution of offenders to maintain a credible election process.
