A devastating fire broke out at Tantra Hill Court Pub on Monday, February 17, destroying over 50 shops and homes, though no casualties were reported.

The blaze, which started in a wooden structure around 1 p.m., quickly spread after multiple gas cylinders exploded, causing widespread destruction.

The Ghana National Fire Service responded promptly but found much of the area already engulfed in flames.

Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have been caused by unattended children playing with fire.

One victim, Emissa Monica, shared her heartache, revealing she lost all her belongings, including GH₵500, to the fire.

Despite the destruction, no lives were lost in the incident.
