The Ghana School of Law (GLS) management is facing legal action following a referral to the Attorney General for alleged procurement violations.
An Auditor General’s report revealed that the Law School procured goods and services without board approval and bypassed the required procurement process.
During a Public Accounts Committee (PAC) session on August 14, MP Freda Prempeh highlighted the breaches, while Acting Chief Accountant Yusuf Osman admitted the infractions.
PAC Chairman James Klutse Avedzi confirmed that the management will be recommended for prosecution due to these procurement irregularities.
