PCG Moderator urges Bawku to embrace peace

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt Rev Dr Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, has made an appeal. He urged parties in the Bawku conflict and other tense areas to embrace peace and reconciliation.

He reminded Ghanaians that no situation is beyond God's power to change. He encouraged everyone to focus on Christ, who brings renewal even in despair.

“Just as the disciples found hope at the empty tomb, we must look to Christ,” he said. “He assures us that He is with us until the end.”

In his Easter message shared with The Ghanaian Times, he emphasized reflection on faith. The theme was “Celebrating Our Heritage in the Hope of the Resurrection.”

He called on all Christians to live values of love, unity, and justice in their words and actions.
