POJOBA congratulates Defence Minister Omane Boamah, extends invitation for June Speech Day

The National Executives of the Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary Old Boys Association (POJOBA) congratulated Dr. Edward Omane Boamah. He was recently appointed Minister for Defence.

During their visit, the group invited Dr. Boamah to be the Special Guest of Honour at the school’s Speech and Prize Giving Day in June 2025.

On April 17, Dr. Boamah shared details of the visit on Facebook. He expressed gratitude for being recognized by his alma mater.

He wrote, “Yesterday, after a meeting with Greater Accra NDC Ward Coordinators, I had a congratulatory visit from POJOBA National Executives.”

Dr. Boamah noted that their discussion focused on POJOSS's future and legacy.

“We deliberated extensively on our alma mater,” he said. “We recalled many achievements of our great institution.”

He warmly accepted the invitation to be Special Guest of Honour at the ceremony. He thanked Rev. Fr. Ohene and the POJOBA Executives for their visit.

Dr. Boamah concluded with a heartfelt message: “May our alma mater flourish!”
